Privacy & data usage

BANKTRUST is a software product for bookkeeping/accounting workflows. We are not a bank or financial institution. This page explains—in plain language—what we collect, why we collect it, and how to request deletion.

Last updated: December 14, 2025

What this site collects

  • Waitlist signups – if you join the early access list, we store your email address and any optional context you provide (for example, firm size or niche). This is stored securely in our database and used only to contact you about BANKTRUST.
  • Basic usage analytics – we use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand which pages are visited and how the site is used. This helps us improve the product and our marketing. We do not use this data to build advertising profiles.

Where your data is stored

  • The BANKTRUST web app and landing page are hosted on Vercel.
  • Application data (including waitlist signups and app data during early access) is stored in Supabase (Postgres + storage).
  • Analytics data is stored by Google Analytics.

How we use your information

  • To contact you about early access, onboarding, and product updates if you join the waitlist.
  • To analyse traffic and usage patterns (for example, which sections of the site are most visited) so we can improve BANKTRUST.
  • To operate and secure the core BANKTRUST application for firms who are invited into early access.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell your data to third parties.
  • We do not use BANKTRUST customer data for targeted advertising.
  • We do not ingest your bank statement contents into public AI models. Any future AI-assisted features will be clearly labelled and scoped.
