Privacy & data usage 🔒
BANKTRUST is a software product for bookkeeping and accounting workflows. We are not a bank or financial institution. This page explains, in plain language, what we collect, why we collect it, and how to request deletion.
📥 What this site collects
- Account information – if you create an account, we store basic account details needed to authenticate you and operate the product.
- Onboarding information – if you complete onboarding, we may store details like your role and primary workflow context to improve the product experience.
- Waitlist signups – if you join early access, we store your email address and any optional context you provide. This is used only to contact you about BANKTRUST.
- Basic usage analytics – we use analytics tools to understand how the site and app are used so we can improve BANKTRUST.
🗄 Where your data is stored
- The BANKTRUST web app and landing page are hosted on Vercel.
- Application data is stored in Supabase (including database and related application storage).
- Analytics data may be processed by Google Analytics and similar product analytics tools used by BANKTRUST.
🎯 How we use your information
- To authenticate users and operate the core BANKTRUST product.
- To contact you about access, onboarding, support, and product updates.
- To analyze usage patterns so we can improve product quality and UX.
- To secure the service, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot problems.
🚫 What we do not do
- We do not sell your data to third parties.
- We do not use BANKTRUST customer data for targeted advertising.
- We do not ingest customer bank statement contents into public AI models.
🧹 Retention and deletion
We keep data for as long as reasonably necessary to operate BANKTRUST, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our terms. If you want your data deleted, contact us and we'll review the request.
